I must say, even though I'm not at all pleased about the upcoming shopping mall PLEX sink, the newest screens of the Captains Quarters (that you posted on Facebook) look quite incredible.
Really looking forward to June 21 and the Ambulation release.

Edited by: S''qarpium D''igil on 01/06/2011 16:35:34 I would love to try it out on Duality, but I can't get activated until they make a new server mirror. :(
Not that big of a deal, though. There's something to be said for waiting until release and then being blown away (This does assume a lack of disappointment, bugs, etc).

Edited by: S''qarpium D''igil on 01/06/2011 19:50:50 Thanks for the tip about singularity, I just tried it out.
I must say, I'm pretty impressed. CCP has done an awesome job on this so far, even though there are some bugs at the moment.
Really quite neat, keep up the good work.
Edit: But I have to ask, why is my pod at the end of the ramp? Getting naked in a public place feels kind of dirty.

I will say that it could use some more sound. It seems like that's all that it's missing, really. The atmosphere just isn't quite "right," and I think it's because of a lack of background noise/sound effects/station ambiance.
These are stations full of thousands -- if not millions -- of people, and yet it's so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.

Originally by: Jennifer Starling It definitely doesn't feel like you're in a busy station and you're just passing through. I'd expect more of a waiting room or serre with plants and comfortable couches where you could receive guests to talk things though in a semi-informal atmosphere, not a motel room like accomodation with a bed.
Now that you mention it, it does have sort of a "motel room" kind of feel. Hopefully the other racial CQs won't face that issue.
Originally by: Jennifer Starling Next to that it's a bit strange lorewise that you'd leave your pod every time you dock at a station? Exit pod and empty the pod fluid, unplug from your ships' systems, towel yourself try, get dressed, get into the CQ, undress again, get in the pod, connect to your ship's systems again, fill the pod with fresh fluid and be transported back into your ship every single time?
Especially if you're simply docking up for a fitting change or to repair some burnt-out guns.

An unsettling thought: the CQ we've been given so far may be the "base" starter CQ -- meaning that you can/will upgrade your CQ (based on race, quality, etc) using Aurum.

Walking from the CQ onto the balcony with an Abaddon activated in the hanger is really amazing. The immense scale is really incredible.

Immersion breaker is that CCP expects me to be wearing clothing while I'm in my pod and that I should lose said clothing if I get podded. Have they read their own lore/chronicles or watched their Incarna teaser trailer?
